Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ve enjoyed looking through the gallery.
I’m Will, an adventure photographer from England. Most at home in the mountains, somewhere cold, or dangling off a rope.
Here’s a bit about me, if you’re interested.
As a teenager, photography wasn’t something that I’d been introduced to, but I’d wanted to start documenting the adventures that I’d have with my friends. So at 16, I got my first camera, a Canon AE1. That camera went absolutely everywhere, and as a hobby it blended seamlessly with our adventuring. My teenage years were spent in the woods, making fire by friction, brewing coffee over the fire and carving spoons. We’d sleep in shelters made from whatever we could scavenge, get completely munched by bugs in the night, and cook bacon for breakfast over the embers.
Enter adult life… I ended up climbing trees for a living! Work as an Arborist was physically and at times mentally hard, but these experiences taught me a lot, and I gained some hugely valuable skills as a result. Eventually I moved into the practical conservation world, which ranged from working in woodlands and wetlands, to remote coastal locations with tern and grey seal colonies.
